Dealers vied for furniture deals during PrimeTime’s “Millions in Minutes” auction. Nationwide’s furniture division accounts for 50 percent of the group’s membership growth. The outdoor business is one of the industry’s fastest-growing categories, said Nationwide Furniture president Bill Bazemore. Nationwide’s management team, which gathered for the group’s PrimeTime show in Nashville last week, said business is resurging for its dealers. Tier-one CE and appliance manufacturers Samsung and LG presented their latest wares at the show. Navy SEALs commander and trainer Rorke Denver explained how independent dealers can apply special forces techniques and strategies to their businesses at a PrimeTime motivational session. Nationwide’s private-label iAmerica program is expanding into bedroom sets and other furniture categories.
