The Icon Wireless over-ear Bluetooth headphones from A-Audio feature the company’s Three-Stage Listening Technology, which allows listeners to choose between base enhancer, active noise cancellation and audio modes. The headphones have leather and memory-foam ear cups with anti-vibration octagonal aluminum bezels; on-ear controls; a foldable design; and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, said to provide 12 hours of play time. Suggested retail is $379. They will ship this month.
Kicker is now shipping its Tabor Bluetooth headphones with AptX decoding, which carry a $179 suggested retail. Details include 50mm drivers, built-in mic, and support for A2DP and AVRCP. The headphones charge via MicroUSB and deliver a reported 10 hours of play time on a 2.5-hour charge.
The KG-300 Wireless gaming headset from Klipsch features 40mm drivers, athletic mesh ear pads and headband, on-ear controls, four EQ presets, a detachable flex boom mic and Dolby Digital Decoding. The company’s proprietary SphereSpace Surround Technology is designed to create a lifelike experience throughout play, Klipsch said. The transmitter base has digital optical, 3.55mm audio and USB inputs, and three AAA batteries reportedly provide up to eight hours of play time. It’s currently available at a $229 suggested retail.
The Gear Circle Bluetooth stereo headset from Samsung — designed to rest around one’s neck — boasts a sweat-resistant construction and will gently vibrate to alert users to incoming calls. Features include touch controls, nine hours of music play and 11 hours of talk time, plus text-to-speech voice commands via Samsung’s S Voice technology. It will be available at Samsung.com for $99.99, with wireless carriers announcing pricing shortly, a spokesman said.
The Tiësto Clublife Maximal in-ear headphones, which carry a $62.79 suggested retail, have 11mm dynamic drivers, in-line mic and controls, and come with three sizes of silicon ear tips. They have recently begun shipping from Experience Headphones.
