Sound Developments has been appointed the exclusive North American distributor for Zappiti’s 4K media players.
“Many consumers have large DVD and Blu-ray libraries with no easy way to store, categorize, and view their content,” said Sound Developments president Barry Wosk. “Zappiti offers a compelling yet surprisingly inexpensive solution for this problem.”
Zappiti offers three models to support 4K video playback., all with support for movie trailers, a fully customizable GUI, and Zappiti’s proprietary MagicPixel video processing with 4K up-conversion.
• The Player 4K Mini ($249) streams content stored on the LAN.
• The Player 4K ($299) includes one SATA HDD “hot swap” slot for up to 8TB of storage (drive not included).
• The Player 4K Duo ($349) includes two SATA HDD “hot swap” slots for up to 16TB of storage (drive not included).
Sound Developments said it has all models in stock available for next-day delivery.
