Hogan Osawa was promoted to president of Yamaha Electronics U.S.A., effective Dec. 1, replacing Ken Iida.
Osawa was executive sales VP, a position to which he was appointed only in March. No replacement has been named.
Iida was president of Yamaha’s U.S. operation almost eight years. He joined the parent company in 1972.
Iida announced his departure in a Dec.1 letter to Yamaha’s sales reps.
