New York – XM Satellite Radio said it will open an additional recording studio here as part of an agreement with Jazz at Lincoln Center, the largest producer of jazz performance and education events, said XM.
As part of a multi-year agreement, XM will broadcast live daily from the “state of the art” studios at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s new location at Frederick P. Rose Hall, on Broadway and 60th Street, said XM.XM will also record and broadcast select live concerts hosted by Jazz at Lincoln Center and both will co-produce new shows.
XM said the new studios are designed for 5.1 surround sound mixing.
