Washington — XM and American Honda Motor today announced a satellite radio trial program for Honda Certified Used Cars with factory-installed XM Satellite Radio.
XM said this program will introduce its service to a new category of car buyers.
Under the program, all certified pre-owned Honda models equipped with XM will come with three months of free service and no activation fee. Honda models equipped with XM include the Accord, Accord Hybrid, Civic, Civic Hybrid, CR-V, Element, Odyssey, Pilot and Ridgeline.
A similar program was recently announced for Acura Certified Pre-Owned vehicles. The two programs combined will place XM in more than 35,000 certified vehicles in 2007, expanding to more than 55,000 vehicles in 2008, XM said.
