A Wireless Acquires Eight P.C. Richard Verizon Kiosks

Norwalk, Conn. – Verizon Wireless dealer A Wireless has acquired
the Verizon Wireless kiosks within eight P.C. Richard & Son stores in Connecticut
and Pennsylvania.

The balance of CE and majap chain’s Verizon Wireless kiosks are
operated directly by the carrier.

Headquartered in Greenville, N.C., A Wireless is an exclusive
premium retailer for Verizon Wireless with 112 locations in eight states and
the District of Columbia. The kiosks represent the first store-within-a-store
real estate for the privately held business.

Like the carrier-operated displays, the kiosks within the seven
Connecticut stores and one Philadelphia location will function as fully
operational retail shops staffed by trained sales associates and offering
handsets, accessories and activations.

“The expansion of A Wireless into the store-in-store retail
market is indicative not only of our ambition to take the A Wireless name into
new territories, but, moreover, of our mission to  provide wireless service and products to all
of our customers in the most convenient locations possible,” said CEO Rich
Balot.

P.C. Richard and Verizon Wireless rolled out the carrier-operated
kiosks last year.
