Reston, Va. – Wirefly is launching a
two-day cashback promotion through Bing.com this holiday weekend.
On July 3-4, the Microsoft search site
will refund visitors $80 for every cell phone, netbook and laptop card purchased
on Wirefly, the e-tail arm of online mobile sales services provider Simplexity.
Wirefly said its “blowout sale” is
in response to Microsoft’s plans to end Bing’s cashback program on July 30.
“Wirefly joined the Bing cashback
program as a way to offer additional savings to our customers,” said Simplexity
chief marketing officer Scott Ableman. “And although we are disappointed that
Bing cashback must come to an end, we could not think of a better way to
conclude the program than with a huge sale.”
Consumers who navigate to
Wirefly from Bing and complete a purchase will receive the cash back directly
from Bing, even if the transaction amount is less than $80. The promotion is
good for up to five phone lines but excludes prepaid phones. All money earned will
be paid directly by Bing after a 60-day pending period via check or direct
deposit.
