Westinghouse Intros 3 1080p LCD TVs

New York — Westinghouse Digital Electronics recently introduced a line of TX series 1080p high-definition LCD TVs that are designed for custom installation markets.

The series includes the 42-inch TX-42F430S ($1,599 suggested retail), the 47-inch TX-47F430S ($1,799) and the 52-inch TX-52F480S ($2,999).

All three models feature 1,920 by 1080p resolution and an integrated ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM Tuner. They also come with four HDMI, two component, composite, S-Video and VGA connectors. They offer full-color spectrum and high-contrast picture, an advanced calibration menu and preset video modes.

The TX series ATSC video processing platform uses a chip set that is specifically optimized for high-definition viewing, said Westinghouse in a release. They also use such company proprietary technologies such as 1080Pure, SpineDesignÔ intelligent cable access, DayBright panel technology, and AutosourceÔ technology that automatically turns the TV on and adjusts it when an external source that is detected. They feature built-in stereo speakers and a subwoofer.

All three are currently available.
