Western Digital Adds Vudu

Irvine, Calif. – Western Digital (WD) added the Vudu movie
and other streaming video services to its WD TV Live product line.

Vudu is immediately available on the WD TV Live WD TV Live
Hub. The devices support the HDX video format to deliver 1080p full HD video
and 7.1-channel surround sound. As a promotion, WD is giving buyers a $4.99
coupon toward Vudu rentals, which start at $2 for two nights.

The company has also added SnagFilms, XOS College Sports,
SEC Digital Network, Comedy Time and Watch Mojo to the WD TV Live products.

Currently, WD TV Live owners have access to content from Netflix,
Hulu Plus, Blockbuster, CinemaNow, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube and Facebook.

WD has also released the WD TV Remote app that will turn iOS
and Android devices into an advanced WD TV remote control. The advanced
features include a gesture pad to help navigate menu screens and services and a
QWERTY keyboard.
