Bentonville, Ark.— Wal-Mart will roll out software to its photo kiosks today allowing consumers to create DVD slideshows from their digital photos.
The myMovieMaker software was developed by Sequoia Media Group and will be loaded onto Fujifilm kiosks in all 3,500-plus Wal-Mart stores. It adds effects, over 50 themed storyboards and background music to the images. The software will then create a DVD movie with those images along with a personalized case, DVD label and thumbnail insert.
