Vudu TV Show Catalog Tops 10,500 Titles

Santa Clara, Calif. – The Walmart-owned

Vudu

streaming movie service said its
assortment of TV show titles available to rent or purchase will have expanded
to more than 10,500 by the end of October.

New content is being added continuously from Bravo, BBC America,
Comedy Central, MTV, National Geographic, Nickelodeon, NBC, Oxygen, Showtime,
Spike TV, Starz, Syfy, TLC, USA and others, the company said.

Added to Vudu’s movie selection, the company’s total content
library now tops 30,000.

Vudu now offers a “next-day air” to stream more than 60 popular
TV series the day after the run on network broadcasts, as well as limited-time
free premiere episodes from select NBC and cable pilots, including Whitney and
Prime Suspect, premiering this week on network television.

Popular television shows that joined service’s catalog this month
include “30 Rock,” “Breaking Bad,” “Spartacus: Gods of the Arena,” “Shark Week,”
“Suits” and “The Kennedys,” among others.

The aforementioned “next-day air” service is offered on returning
and new fall shows, including “The Office Season 8,” “Doctor Who Season 6,” “Top
Gear UK Season 17,” “The Closer Season 7,” “Law and Order: SVU Season 13,” “Pan
Am Season 1,” “Parenthood Season 3,” “Parks and Recreation Season 4,” “The Real
Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2,” “The Rachel Zoe Project Season 4” and “The
Walking Dead Season 2.”

All episodes are available for purchase only with pricing ranging
from $1.99 to $2.99 per episode depending on purchased content is in SD, HD or
HDX formats.

Vudu also offers limited-time free premiere episodes from some of
the fall’s new TV shows.

In addition to Whitney and Prime Suspect, select NBC and cable
pilots will be available on Vudu for approximately two weeks following the
original premiere dates, including “Free Agents” (NBC), “Up All Night” (NBC), “Bachelorette
Party” (Oxygen), “Fashion Hunters” (Bravo) and “Mad Fashion” (Bravo).

Vudu’s expanded TV content assortment is available on Vudu.com,
Walmart.com/vudu or on more than 300 Vudu-enabled CE devices, including the
iPad, Internet-capable HDTVs, Blu-ray Disc players and PlayStation3.
