Holmdel, N.J. — Vonage can continue to sell its service and support its existing customers thanks to a temporary stay from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in Washington, D.C.
Vonage can continue signing up customers until the Appellate court hears Vonage’s request for a permanent stay.
Late last week a U.S. District Court in Alexandria ruled that Vonage could not sign up new customers while it continued to infringe on several of Verizon’s VoIP patents.
