Stevensville, Md. – Video Mount Products (VMP) has begun
shipping its SCM-2 suspended ceiling replacement tile for ceiling mounts.
“The new SCM-2 has been designed for use in environments
that utilize suspended ceilings, such as schools and offices,” explained Keith
Fulmer, VMP president. “The SCM-2 replaces the actual drop-ceiling tile and
blends into the ceiling itself, where the mount is then attached. It can be
used to support projectors, flat panels or CCTV monitors less than 200 pounds,
and can be used with any VMP ceiling mount or any mount using 1.5-inch NPT
pipe.”
The SCM-2 is for use with 2-foot by 2-foot drop-ceiling
grids; includes 30 feet of tie wire, turnbuckles, attachment hardware and four
integrated standard electrical knockouts; and has a white powder-coat finish
It retails for $169.
