Edison, N.J. – Sakar’s
brand introduced Monday a compact camcorder and a 16-megapixel
point-&-shoot camera, both of which will be distributed exclusively through
the
(HSN).
The Vivitar’s XVN-5 ($150 special event selling price) is billed
as an ultra compact Full HD 1080p camcorder with 5x optical zoom, three-inch flip-out
touch screen LCD with swipe technology, horizontal configuration and a choice
of body colors in red, blue or black.
It includes 32MB of internal memory and will capture still images
in 8-megapixel resolution.
The compact camcorder is about the size of a deck of playing
cards and has dual memory slots – one for SD and the other for MicroSD.
The VS529 digital point-and-shoot camera features 16-megapixel still
image resolution, and HD 720p motion video.
Other features include: a 5x
optical zoom, 4x digital zoom, six body color options, anti-shake technology
and face detection a 2.7-inch screen and rechargeable Lithium Ion battery.
