ViewSonic Unveils DLP, 3LCD Projectors

Walnut, Calif. - ViewSonic said Tuesday it has added new DLP and 3LCD projectors with boosted brightness performance to its expanding projector lineup.

Model PJD6251 ($949 estimated retail) is a DLP-based 120Hz projector that is said to be 3-D ready. Designed for conference room and classroom use, the unit produces 3,700 lumens of brightness, a 2,800:1 contrast ratio, HDMI input port and RJ45 network-management remote configuration software.

Positioned for similar applications, model PJL9371 ($1,749 suggested retail) is a 3LCD-based model with 4,000 lumens of brightness, a 2,000:1 contrast ratio, integrated 16W speakers, 5,000-hour lamp life and hybrid filter design for increased energy savings.
