Walnut, Calif. – ViewSonic said Wednesday it is adding touch technology to a 22-inch LED optical HD display monitor.
Model TD2220, which is targeted at commercial, high traffic and consumer environments, is equipped with dual point optical touch technology and a hardened 8H level scratch resistant surface for touch interaction.
The ViewSonic monitor, which will ship the third week of October at a $329 estimated selling price, features a USB HID compliant design for automatic touch functionality via USB connection under Windows operating systems.
Other features in the monitor include: Full HD 1080p resolution, a 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, Energy Star and EPEAT Silver certification, and SRS Premium Sound.
Paired with multiple video sources (DVI with HDCP and VGA inputs), and a 20,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, the TD2220 delivers an immersive viewing experience that is ideal for blur-freevideo and sharp business graphics.
