BenQ Ships 32” UHD Monitor Supporting sRGB

Costa Mesa, Calif. — BenQ America said its 32-inch Ultra HD monitor is now shipping to retail.

Model BL3201PH, which carries a $1,099 suggested retail, is targeted at graphics professionals in need of highly accurate, high-resolution color reproduction.

BenQ’s monitor includes an IPS panel, new optimized modes, 100 percent sRGB color accuracy, and BenQ’s RevolutionEyes technology for enhanced visual comfort.

The monitor is said to be ideal for engineering, 3D printing or industrial design professionals.

“Graphics professionals rely on color precision and the ability to see every detail to ensure the success of their work,” said Bob Wudeck, BenQ strategy and business development associate. “With our new BL3201PH design monitor, we’re expanding the screen size to 32 inches, adding 4K2K UHD (3,840 by 2,160) resolution, and providing professionals with application-specific viewing modes — creating a design environment that makes detail-driven workflows more intuitive without compromising the device’s competitive price point.”

A new optimized CAD/CAM Mode provides a special color map for popular CAD programs, increasing the rendition of smaller details that are typically difficult to see, the company said.

An Animation Mode automatically enhances brightness for darker zones without oversaturating brighter portions of the screen providing 10 different adjustable brightness levels.

BenQ’s Display Pilot software provides auto pivot, desktop partition, application tuning, PIP/PBP, and OSD setting adjustments on an intuitive onscreen interface.

The monitor adds four rapid-transfer USB 3.0 ports and an SD card reader for easy connection to peripheral devices.

BenQ also offers RevolutionEyes technology with ZeroFlicker capabilities to eliminate flicker issues caused by backlight controllers.
