Tom Graham, Yamaha national marketing director, named marketing VP. Best Buy VPs Susan Hoff (corporate communications), Joseph Joyce (general counsel) and Mike Marolt (loss prevention) named senior VPs, and directors Shari Ballard (organizational effectiveness) and Gerald Nanninga (strategic planning) promoted to VP. Associate creative director Ric West named VP/print advertising. Jackie Trilling resigns as VP of purchasing and marketing for Computech Computers & Electronics, Maple Shade, N.J. Trilling's replacement at Computech and his plans have not been announced. Michael Teicher, ex-Turner Broadcasting senior VP of sales, joins ReplayTV Service as senior VP of advertising sales. Teicher will report to executive VP Rob Kenneally and will oversee ReplayTV's new advertising and sales offices in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. Raymond C. Creech, a semiconductor industry veteran, named president of the Secure Digital Association (SDA), the group that will set industry standards for the Secure Digital Memory Card. Rene Buhay, national sales manger of Ricoh, joins Samsung Telecommunications America as ISP/retail sales director for its Broadband Network Terminal Division.

George Hechtman, formerly of OfficeMax, BizMart, Circuit City, Montgomery Ward and Pacific Stereo, named VP/administration at Good Guys. Also, Vance R. Schram, currently VP/finance, appointed acting CFO, and Stanley R. Baker, a Good Guys director and founding partner, tapped as chief strategic adviser. Industry veteran Peter Hoagland named Russound director of marketing and technology. Stephen Fox, business development VP for Invensys Sensors and Aerospace, named president of Fedders' Melcor Corp., the air conditioner maker's thermal technology products unit. Dennis Schneider joins GE Distribution Finance as VP/sales and marketing. Five national marketing managers also named: Bill Smith, Northeast; Ed Hickert, Midwest; Anson Wong, West; Tim McKevitt, Southeast; and Alan Leslie, other strategic accounts.. Bob Laclede, VP/general manager of Ingram Micro's Premium South Commercial Division, has taken on running the company's Government and Education Division. Mike Skinner, product development VP for MarketStar, joins BDS Marketing as chief information officer. Marketing services firm BDS, Irvine, Calif., represents Thomson Consumer Electronics, Canon Computer, Xerox and Microsoft's WebTV, among others. Colin Fraser joins MTi as salesperson for its Interactive Merchandising Solutions Group.
