Dick Komiyama, longtime Sony Electronics executive and president of Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications, will retire at the end of the year, and Bert Nordberg will join the company as co-president on Sept. 1. Nordberg is currently executive VP of the Ericsson Group and head of Ericsson Silicon Valley and will become president on Oct. 15. Komiyama joined Sony Ericsson as president in November 2007 from his post as chairman of Sony Electronics USA.
