TV Print Ads Focus On Intant Rebates: GfK

New York – The research firm GfK today issued a brief look back on the year in TV retail print advertisements.

GfK noted that 49 percent of print ads are promoted with instant rebates and the four biggest promotional events center on the Super Bowl, Father’s Day, Black Friday and Christmas.

The instant rebates remained relatively stable throughout the year averaging $412, GfK said.

GfK’s Promotion & Causal Retail division tracks newspaper, flyer and circular advertising on technical consumer goods, major appliances and other products from the top 85 markets across the U.S., 7 days a week.
