Troetti Named Sharp Marketing President

Mahwah, N.J. — Sharp Electronics has promoted Michael Troetti from executive VP of the Consumer Electronics Group to president of Sharp Electronics Marketing Company of America (SEMCA), effective Sept. 21.

Troetti replaces Noboru Fujimoto, who becomes Group Deputy General Manager of the Solar Systems Group, where he will be in charge of domestic and international sales in Japan.

As president, Troetti will oversee the two groups that fall under SEMCA, including the Consumer Electronics Group (strategic accounts, audio/video, appliances and marketing) and Information Systems Group (professional LCD monitors and data projectors, point-of-sale, home office and mobile products). He will report to Toshihiko Fujimoto, Sharp Electronics Corp. chairman and CEO.
