Los Angeles – Transcend added to its line of USB flash drives with the introduction of the JetFlash V70.
Said to be made of a durable eco-friendly silicone rubber, the drive is engineered to be resistant to shock, splashes and dust. Transcend said the drive fully meets U.S. military drop-test standards (MIL-STD-810F 516.5-Transit Drop). It comes with a tethered cap holder.
The drives will be offerede in 16GB (red), 8GB (orange) and 4GB (purple) capacities. The company did not respond to requests for pricing and availability as of this posting.
