STRESA, ITALY —
The Consumer Electronics Association
(CEA) held its 15th annual CEO Summit, here,
on the shores of scenic Lake Maggiore, more than an
hour’s drive from the country’s business hub, Milan,
earlier this month.
While the obvious charms of northern Italy drew
more than 180 CE executives, CEA co-located the
event with the TechHome Mediterraneo Summit and
included its Board of Industry Leaders meeting, panels
on global retail trends, industrial design and clues
about what to expect at the 2012 International CES.
There were also plenty of opportunities to network, as
