Boston — Tivoli Audio launched another Bluetooth-equipped tabletop radio.
The latest model is a Bluetooth-equipped version of the company’s longstanding single-chassis Music System, which features stereo speakers, AM/FM RDS tuner, slot-load MP3/WMA CD player, and built-in, down-firing 5-inch magnetically shielded powered subwoofer.
The Music System BT is available in furniture-grade wood cabinets made of walnut, cherry and black ash at a suggested $699. It joins the current Music System, which retails for a suggested $599.
Music System BT is available at Tivoli dealers, online at TivoliAudio.com, and via toll-free call to (877) 297-9479.
Last month, Tivoli unveiled the $299-suggested Bluetooth-equipped Albergo tabletop AM/FM alarm-clock radio. And in May 2012, the company introduced a Bluetooth-equipped version of its PAL portable AM/FM radio with rechargeable battery and a Bluetooth version of its Model One AM/FM tabletop radio.
Tivoli also offers a universal Bluetooth receiver that can be added to any audio system.
The Music System BT features digital clock with battery backup, dual alarms, CD shuffle and repeat functions, front-panel preset buttons for six favorite AM/FM stations, and 32-character lighted display. It also features digital automatic or manual tuning, separate volume control for the built-in subwoofer, and bass-reflex stereo speakers to deliver extended bass response.
