Tivoli Appoints New President/COO

Boston — Lenbrook America’s Bob Brown has been appointed president and COO of Tivoli Audio, said Tivoli chairman/CEO Tom DeVesto.

Brown, formerly president and CEO of Lenbrook America, replaces Jeff Stone, the former Tweeter president/CEO who recently joined Circuit City as executive VP for new business development.

Lenbrook America is the U.S. distributor and marketer of NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers and QED Cable. Tivoli markets high-quality tabletop radios and audio systems as well as portable radios.

Brown was president of Lincolnwood, the distributor of NAD, PSB and Atlantic Technology from 1986 until it was acquired in 1991 by Canada’s Lenbrook International, the electronics importing and marketing company. Brown continues to serve as chairman of Lenbrook International.

Before going to Lincolnwood, Brown was VP of Kloss Video, where he worked with Tom DeVesto and Henry Kloss. DeVesto and Kloss would later co-found Cambridge SoundWorks in 1988. In 2000, DeVesto founded Tivoli Audio, which marketed radios designed by Kloss, who passed away in 2002.

Brown also worked for speaker maker Advent.
