New York – Antenna-maker Terk announced today it had reached an ‘agreement in principle’ to be the exclusive sales agent for the first XM-branded satellite car audio products on the market.
The product line, which is code named ‘Commander’ will be officially announced on August 26 with more product details to accompany the official launch, said Greg Keys, executive VP, sales and marketing, Terk, at a press conference, here today.
Keys also announced a national rebate program with partner Samsung. Consumers who purchase a Samsung HDTV set-top box and selected Terk HDTV antenna will receive a $50 rebate. According to Keys, the exact details of the rebate program will be revealed later in the month.
‘Consumers need to know that they can get free, over the air HDTV signals to their house and we’re glad Samsung had the confidence in our vision to partner with us,’ Keys said.
