Antenna specialist Terk Technologies has signed a distribution agreement with Dutch mounting products company Vogel’s Products.
Under terms of the deal, Terk, based here, will become the exclusive distributor of Vogel’s product lines in the United States. Vogel’s products will continue to be marketed under the Vogel’s brand.
Vogel’s, which offers premium-quality audio and video equipment supports, markets a wide range of both consumer and commercial products, including a line of mounts, stands and brackets for A/V display devices and home entertainment components such as LCD and plasma displays, direct-view TVs, DVD players and loudspeakers.
“The distribution agreement between Terk and Vogel’s is a perfect fit,” said Steve Roth, Terk’s CEO. “Terk’s well-established U.S. distribution channels ensure that Vogel’s products will reach a broad variety of American consumers, and our companies share similar design philosophies, making the agreement even more attractive.”
Products from the Eindhoven, Netherlands-based Vogel’s have particular appeal for the custom-installation market, namely its Professional and Evolution lines, as well as consumer electronics channels.
Looking closer at Vogel’s products, its plasma TV supports feature a universal mounting plate that allows compatibility with many display sizes, while plasma mounts feature gas shocks that hold the display in virtually any position. Products also feature the company’s Cable Inlay System, a cable management layout that invisibly routes all cables and provides seamless integration with home entertainment components and video display devices.
“Both companies believe that design is an integral part of a product’s functionality, and that every product should artfully complement the environment in which it is installed,” continued Roth.
Terk, an antenna technology and signal management solutions provider, offers a broad range of antenna products and others for television, satellite, radio and mobile entertainment and communications. Its product line includes indoor and outdoor HDTV, analog TV, satellite radio and analog radio antennas, DirecTV satellite dishes, satellite/cable installation hardware and A/V accessories.
