New York – Tandy Brands
Accessories announced today that it has entered into a multiyear licensing
agreement to manufacture and market products under the Sharper Image brand.
The agreement covers connectivity
accessories such as charging docks and portable computer peripherals as well as
travel accessories. Tandy said it expects to drive incremental distribution in
a number of wholesale channels, including national retail and department
stores, clubs and specialty stores. Both organizations expect to see an
incremental impact in their business in calendar year 2012, particularly during
the 2012 holiday season.
