Thousand Oaks, Calif. — Outdoor TV manufacturer SunBriteTV announced that its wireless universal outdoor transmitter module is finally ready for sale for both residential and commercial applications.
The weatherproof and wireless receiver/transmitter system that the company first showed as a new concept piece at last year’s CEDIA Expo is now ready for sale on the www.sunbritetv.com website, the company said, adding that the product’s long wait was the result of some production delays that are now behind it.
The SunBriteTV Wireless HD Transceiver model SB-HDWT ($595 suggested retail price) will transmit Full 1080p HD content to any SunBriteTV within 150-foot range via an HDMI-in and HDMI-out transceiver.
The peripheral device is compatible with all SunBriteTV models as well as other HDMI-featured products, the company said.
“In some instances, running hard wiring can be difficult, time consuming and costly to the homeowner,” said Tom Dixon, SunBriteTV marketing VP. “Custom integrators now have a simple, cost-effective solution to address problem installations.”
