Thousand Oaks, Calif. — Outdoor TV resource SunBriteTV introduced Monday a pair of new affordably priced Signature-series models in 32- and 46-inch screen sizes.
Models SB-3270HD ($1,495 suggested retail) and SB-4760HD ($2,895) are available now and add a host of upgrades to the initial Signature series.
The new-generation pieces include 50 percent slimmer profiles using LED rear-screen lighting technology.
“We’ve taken the best-selling outdoor TV in the world and improved it by leaps and bounds,” said Tom Dixon, SunBriteTV marketing VP. “Our new design features powder-coated aluminum casings that make the new Signature-series models 50 percent thinner but actually stronger and more durable. By adding newer, brighter LED displays, SunBriteTV will take the outdoor viewing experience to a new level.”
SunBriteTV’s new design employs a patented cooling system that allows for a thinner design while actually improving the unit’s ability to operate in extreme heat (up to 130 degrees F).
Both units also add new powder-coated aluminum exteriors for improved durability.
“The outdoor living market is expanding rapidly as more consumer technology products become optimized for outdoor use,” said Dixon. “It’s critical to consider not only performance, but also how these products are integrated aesthetically into existing backyards.”
SunBriteTV pointed out that its models outperform indoor televisions used outdoors on a number of important variables: all models withstand temperatures from -24 degrees to 122 degrees F; are completely weather sealed to resist rain, snow, dust and insects; and offer insulated electronics and specialized sealing technology reduce the risk of personal injuries associated with using electronic equipment outside.
The new models are now available in black, silver and white. They include a two-year warranty, weatherproof remote and 20-watt built-in speakers.
Optional accessories include a variety of weatherproof wall-, ceiling-, or deck pole-mount installation solutions, wireless HD transceivers and weatherproof media box enclosures.
