Stereo Exchange Marks Silver Anniversary

New York – Stereo Exchange went into business 25 years ago
by selling used stereo equipment from a small, cramped room in the city, but now
it’s a block-long Greenwich Village institution that sells brand new high-end audio,
video and custom-installation gear from such suppliers as Arcam, Crestron, McIntosh,
Kaleidescape, NAD, Meridian and Vudu.

For its 25th, Stereo Exchange invited consumers, vendors and
other retailers to a Thursday evening celebration topped off with live in-store
musical performances by such musical guests as recording artist Lori Liebermanm,
who was supported by singer-songwriter Eugene Ruffolo on vocals and guitar.
Other musical guests included singer, author and humorist Christine Lavin,
singer-songwriter and acoustic guitarist Jim Dawson, jazz violinist Aaron
Weinstein and guitarist Joe Cohn.

About 300 people attended the event, including
representatives of about 20 vendors.
