NEW YORK —
Stan Hametz, 71,
longtime executive with Panasonic,
died on Tuesday, Jan. 5,
here, according to an obituary in
the New York Times.
Hametz was a senior VP with
Panasonic, specializing for most
of the time in video, and responsible
for selling and introducing
such products as VHS VCRs,
DVDs, video cameras and camcorders.
The funeral was held at Wellwood Cemetery in
Farmingdale, N.Y., on Jan. 6. Hametz is survived by
wife Linda, and children, Michelle, Andrew and Craig.
