Ontario, Calif — Computer peripheral maker SOYO announced yesterday the establishment of a new division in the company dedicated to its VoIP portfolio.
The new division, which tapped telecom veteran Shaun Kung to be sales VP, will be responsible for product design, development, sales and marketing of the company’s line of Z-Connect VoIP telephones, routers, and other IP products and services.
The new division will provide VoIP to wholesale dealers, ITSP (Internet Telephony Service Providers) resellers, system and network integrators, small to medium businesses and consumers.
The company’s products included corded and cordless IP phones that run over the company’s IP network. It recently secured distribution with Wal-Mart.com.
