Soundfreaq Bows Wireless Speakers

Los Angeles – Soundfreaq
introduced its first compact wireless speakers, the Sound Step and Sound Step
Recharge.

The speakers are
designed to dock, charge and stream music wirelessly from any device with
Bluetooth technology. The Sound Step Recharge has rechargeable batteries that
reportedly provide up to six hours of playback time.

The company said Target
is serving as its launch partner for the products; the products will also be
available through Amazon.com. Suggested retail for the Sound Step is $139 and
$159 for the Sound Step Recharge.

The 2.1 speakers have a
dedicated subwoofer and the company’s proprietary UQ3 technology. They include
a dock for use with the iPhone, iPad or iPod, as well as a USB charting port.
According to Soundfreaq, iPad users will not have to remove the tablet’s case
to use the dock.

They also feature
line-in jack inputs for use with non-Bluetooth devices.

Apple device users can
download a free Soundfreaq app to turn their iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch into a
remote control for the speakers.
