Fort Lauderdale, Fla. – Sound Advice, the premium A/V dealer, is opening a second showroom, this one in Boca Raton, Fla.
The company, which at its height operated 33 stores throughout the Sunshine State, was acquired by Tweeter in 2002 and shuttered six years later with the chain’s bankruptcy.
Sound Advice founder Peter Beshouri and former senior executive Michael Blumberg acquired the brand in Tweeter’s bankruptcy sale, and re-launched the company last year with a website and lone Fort Lauderdale location. It later added car audio under former Sound Advice and Tweeter merchant Dan Jeancola.
The new showroom is expected to open early next month.
