New York — Sony Creative Software has updated its Vegas Movie Studio Platinum Edition software making it compatible with almost most AVCHD camcorders.
The 8.0 version of the title, now available at a $119 suggested retail, can work with almost any Sony, Panasonic and Canon AVCHD camcorder, the company said. The upgrade is free for existing Movie Studio Platinum Edition owners and can be downloaded at Sony Creative Software.
The title has the same functionality as the previous version, enabling amateurs and professionals to edit video in high-definition, 5.1 surround sound mixing and handle tasks like color correction.
