San Diego — Sony announced today that its ImageStation online photo service customers will now have the option of uploading photos and picking up prints at Longs Drugs Stores.
The service will be available in 477 Longs Drugs locations on the West Coast and Hawaii.
Available print sizes include 4-inch by 6-inch, 5- by 7-inch and 8- by 10-inch. Pricing will be set by Longs. Prints can be picked up one hour after uploading in most locations, Sony said.
Longs is the second retailer to connect with Sony’s online service. The first partnership with CVS went live last year.
Sony’s partnership is the latest in a series of online services forging links with third-party retailers for print fulfillment. AOL Pictures recently announced a similar agreement with Walgreens.
