San Diego – Sony has issued a recall of its C- and F-series
notebooks due to an overheating problem.
In a letter to customers Sony stated that certain units in
these series may overheat due to a malfunctioning internal temperature-management
system. This could result in the deformation of the unit’s keyboard, casing and
could burn the user.
Sony is recommending customers owning these models download
a firmware update that will fix the issue.
