Tokyo — Sony announced its entry into the fast-growing digital SLR market today, through a partnership with Konica Minolta.
The agreement to jointly develop d-SLRs based on the Maxxum/Dynax lens mount system and shared imaging technology gives Sony a foothold into one of the remaining profit centers in the digital camera market.
No other details were announced.
