Sony DADC Names New Presidents

Terre Haute, Ind. –

Sony DADC

said Tuesday that it has advanced Michael Frey to the newly created position of
president, Sony DADC digital services, and named Dave Rubenstein to replace him
as Sony DADC Americas president.

Frey will now lead global digital content delivery solutions
within the Sony DADC organization. Initially, his team will focus on clients
from the film and music industries, and the scope will expand to include
additional industry verticals, including broadcast and book publishing.

“Over the past three years, Michael and his team have implemented
an industry-leading supply-chain management system for our physical
distribution business,” said Dieter Daum, Sony DADC Global CEO.  “In this new role, he will have the
opportunity to implement it for our ever-expanding digital offerings.”

Rubenstein, who comes to Sony DADC Americas from pre-recorded
media supplier Cinram, where he was president and CEO, has more than 30 years
experience in the home entertainment supply-chain industry.

Based in Marina Del Rey, Calif., Rubenstein will oversee all
aspects of the company’s manufacturing, physical distribution and
transportation businesses in North and South America.

“Dave is a well-established industry veteran, and I am thrilled
to have him join Sony DADC,” Daum said in a statement.  “I am confident that his leadership and
knowledge of the industry will enable us to maintain and further our leadership
in both the physical and digital areas of our industry.”
