San Diego — Sony will auction one of its 100 limited-edition 007 Vaio notebooks for charity.
The $2,400 notebooks, part of a previously announced campaign developed to support the next James Bond film “Quantum of Solace,” each feature an engraved 007 gun logo and come with a matching leather carrying case.
The winner of the online charity auction, which can be bid upon at www.ebay.com/vaio, will receive the seventh notebook in the specially numbered series.
Proceeds from the auction will be donated to 1% For The Planet, an alliance of businesses dedicated to creating a healthier environment.
