Sonance Filling New Niche With Speaker “Sculptures”

San Clemente, Calif. — Custom install supplier Sonance will market upscale in-room and outdoor omnidirectional and multidirectional speaker “sculptures” made by Italian speaker manufacturer NACSound under the NACSound for Sonance label.

Sonance’s U.S. and Canadian dealers will have access to high-performance speakers described by Sonance president Shawn Sugarman as “stunning, hand-finished sculptural icons” that can be suspended from ceilings or placed on tabletops. The speakers incorporate ceramic, aluminum, wood and carbon-fiber materials in a variety of shapes and finishes that can be used indoors or out.

“Sonance specializes in speakers that disappear into the environment, whereas NACSound specializes in designs that are intended to stand out,” said NACSound commercial director Alan Cooke. “Together, these lines provide custom integrators and designers with a complete array of options for any project.”

With the “visually appealing, high-performance loudspeaker solutions,” Sugarman said, “Sonance now offers a complete range of high-performance architectural loudspeaker solutions, from our invisible Sound Advance speakers to our Architectural Series, featuring truly flush-mount and trimless in-walls.”
