Park City, Utah — Skullcandy has appointed Jason Hodell as chief financial officer.
Hodell was most recently chief financial officer of Shopzilla, and has previously held positions with Move Networks and Digex.
In a statement, Skullcandy president and CEO Hoby Darling said the company was attracted to Hodell’s “turnaround experience,” among other things, noting that this was “an important skill set that will be an added benefit to our current situation.”
Skullcandy has been actively restructuring as part of its plan to “adjust its roadmap.” Its previous chief financial officer, Kyle Wescoat, resigned in June.
Hodell’s position will become effective by Nov. 4.
