Skullcandy Launching Its 1st Women-Themed Headphones

CES 2014 Las Vegas— Skullcandy has announced its first headphones specifically targeted toward women.  

The company is also expanding its sports headphones offerings.

The women-specific line consists of ear buds and headphones with adjustments in clamping pressure and form-fitting female-specific ear gels with Pureclean.

The line, which will have fashion-forward designs, according to the company, will launch in March for retails ranging from $29.99 to $99.99.

Skullcandy will also begin shipping its Sport Performance line in June. The ear buds, in-ear and ear hanger earphones will be geared toward “athletic audiophiles,” the company said, and will feature durability, mic control, cord resistance, reflectivity and sweat resistance.

Stickygels will ensure the ear gels stay in place while sweating. 

Pricing will range from $29.99 to $49.99.
