Sirius XM Retains Mainly Sirius Managers For Car Aftermarket

New York — An internal Sirius memo announced the new car-aftermarket management team as Sirius and XM merge management teams.

Most of the new managers were previously with Sirius, rather than XM.

Matt Downing will retain his post as consumer sales and marketing direct VP, said the memo signed by Bob Law, Sirius XM group VP and GM for the aftermarket division.

Sean Gibbons, formerly Sirius product management VP, becomes product marketing VP.

Todd Goodnight, also of Sirius, becomes aftermarket operations VP and Denzil Miller becomes CE manufacturing VP.

An administrative assistant at XM said many of the aftermarket managers are leaving, including Dan Murphy, XM product marketing and distribution senior VP, who is currently on medical leave but is expected to exit the company shortly.

XM and Sirius did not immediately answer TWICE inquiries.

The new Sirius XM appointments follow the previously announced designation of Mike Roberts as retail distribution VP and Tom Steckbeck as special markets VP, both of whom held the same titles at Sirius prior to the merger.
