Joe Clayton, Sirius Satellite Radio’s president/CEO, has relinquished the title of president and divided those responsibilities between two new hires, while continuing as CEO.
Scott Greenstein has been named president, entertainment and sports, and James Meyer president, operations and sales.
Both executives had been acting as consultants to the company.
Greenstein, former chairman of USA Films, will oversee all programming, marketing and corporate marketing for the nationwide satellite radio broadcaster.
Meyer, a longtime Thomson Consumer Electronics exec who worked with Sirius CEO Joe Clayton there, will be responsible for overseeing and directing all operations and sales, including the company’s automotive OEM business, retail markets, product management, strategic partners, engineering functions and geographical expansion.

Scott Greenstein and Jim Meyer bring a breadth of knowledge, core competencies and experience that will help us meet this challenge and take us to the next level of our development,” Clayton said.
The executives will report to Clayton.
