SINOCES Set For July 8-11

ARLINGTON, VA. — The 2010
SINOCES will be held July 8-11 in
Qingdao, China, and is expected to
draw more than 500 global companies
to exhibit new technologies.

Co-sponsored by the Consumer Electronics
Association (CEA), producer of
International CES, and in partnership
with the China Electronics Chamber
of Commerce (CECC) and the city of
Qingdao, CEA said it will feature advancements
in 3DTV, telecommunications
and connected home appliances.

“The Chinese CE market is booming
— it accounts for 13 percent of the entire
global consumer electronics industry,”
said Gary Shapiro, president and
CEO, CEA. New areas on the SINOCES
show floor include the 3G Telecommunication
Pavilion and the Industrial
Design Pavilion focused on the
latest design trends, among others.
