Ronkonkoma, N.Y. – Sigma introduced Wednesday a 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM full-frame “Sigma Art Lens” designed for artistic expression and image quality.
Sigma’s lens combines a basic wide to medium tele zoom range with an inner focusing system that eliminates front lens rotation, to enhance stability while allowing the use of circular polarizing filters, Sigma said.
The lens also includes a constant aperture of F4, and contains Sigma’s proprietary Optical Stabilizer (OS) technology to compensate for camera shake.
Sigma said it used its modulation transfer function (MTF) “A1” measuring system to align with today’s high-spec full-frame and APS-C-format cameras.
The 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM lens will ship in November at a price to be announced later.
