Hoffman Estates, Ill. - Sears said its Outlet stores will price match all competitors' Black Friday ads now through Nov. 30.
, which also extends to online promotions, is limited to identical models, brands and colors that are carried in its stores.
Sears Outlet will also accept tweeted price checks on major appliances on Black Friday, and promises to respond to customers with a lower offer if the product is available.
Sears operates about 120 Outlet locations nationwide, which carry new, one-of-a-kind, out-of-carton, discontinued, used, reconditioned and scratched-and-dented majaps, electronics and other merchandise at a 20 percent to 60 percent discount off regular retail prices. Brands include
Kenmore, Whirlpool, LG, GE and Sony, as well as other retailers' private-label lines.
"Sears Outlet provides a great format for shoppers to buy nationally recognized brands that are important to the home and family life at significantly reduced prices," said VP/general manager JJ Ethridge. "And now by honoring our competitor's Black Friday ads, we are giving our customers an opportunity to save even more."
